This cedar storage bench is a convenient way to add storage and seating to your backyard. Made of western red cedar, it is a great place to store cushions, pool accessories and more. Built-in drainage grooves in the top and bottom allow wet gear to dry thoroughly. Finished with a clear oil preservative to protect the wood, it will weather to a silvery gray. To keep its rich color, apply a color-maintaining wood preservative (not included). Plus, it works beautifully as outdoor seating. Drainage grooves built into the top, and open slats in the bottom allow moisture to escape, and wet gear to dry. The bench is made in the USA from solid Western red cedar with durable, plated hardware specially-coated to resist rust. A UVA-protectant, oil finish brings out the wood's natural beauty while shielding it from the damaging effects of sun. (Over time, the wood will fade to silvery gray, though periodically re-applying stain will maintain its original finish.)
